Coinbase: A third of British use crypto

The Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange, in its recent Qualtrics report, states that a third of British adults have already bought cryptocurrencies and are actively using them. The adoption of cryptocurrencies in the U.K. has thus reached a new milestone. The latest data from Qualtrics for Coinbase crypto exchange shows that the adoption of crypto in the U.K. is still growing. A third of British people said they had invested in the previous period and still own them. Compared to October 2021, this is a 4% increase.

The report further states that more than half of respondents intend to increase their holdings in digital assets in the next 12 months. Thus, more and more British adults are buying cryptocurrencies. Among other things, 23% of respondents want to expand into new assets. The Coinbase Report also states that the trend of adopting digital assets is also growing in other European countries. Spain, Italy and Germany lead the table. In response to the growing adoption of cryptocurrencies in E.U., Coinbase spokesman said:

"RECENT SURVEYS SUGGEST THAT THE ADOPTION TREND CAN CONTINUE, WITH MANY COMMON AMBITIONS, TO EXPAND THE SIZE AND DIVERSIFICATION OF THEIR PORTFOLIOS."

Despite increasingly stringent regulations by authorities and government officials, cryptocurrency adoption in Europe continues to grow.
